Isn't it funny how life sometimes takes you on little twists and turns that you never expect? A few years ago, while visiting WPKN in Bridgeport (89.5 FM) to help promote a benefit concert I was performing in, I walked into a world that I never thought I'd be a part of. From 2005-2009, I was involved at WPKN in Bridgeport, CT, and its "sister station," WPKM in Montauk, NY. Below is some info on what I did there...

The White Rose Political Calendar

I had the privilege of producing the White Rose Political Calendar for WPKN/WPKM from 2005-2007. Activism is a part of me, something I value more and more after hearing horror stories about people in other countries being jailed, attacked, even killed for voicing their opinions openly as we do in the U.S. I'm honored to have been part of the White Rose legacy at the station.

The Singers' Circle

Background: I launched "The Singers' Circle," along with my good friend Melissa Mulligan, in October of 2005. What the heck is "The Singers' Circle?" It's a radio show that exclusively focuses on independent ("indie") artists - those grassroots performers with extraordinary talents who are giving all they've got to make a name for themselves. Melissa and I are part of this eclectic bunch, and each month we'd share our unique perspectives about "the biz," offering insider information you wouldn't hear anywhere else!

**"The Singers' Circle" is currently on hiatus. Stayed tuned for updates on when we'll be back on the air!**
